This is a good article with good points. The GIFs take away from the content and message and are needlessly distracting. Music does have to intersect with money at some point. Those mega eterepreneurs also had the connections and skill to get their hands on lots of marketing money at some point, not usally right at first, but at the key point to take their innovations/solutions and put them in front of enough people - to give people a reason to want and buy their product. In music, you need to give people a reason to listen. They don't teach you these business fundamentals in music school, which is fine, but we need a "finishing school" as it were for entrepreneurial/business/financial/marketing training, otherwise the musical innovation is likely to go unheard and unnoticed in today's age.
