The Hottest Relationship
Be sure to understand “the rest of the story.” The world constantly misses this key! I wrote this as a response to this image I came across and the (superficial, lustful, worldly) message it sends.
A VIRTUOUS wife is extremely precious because: not her hairdo, eyelashes and lingerie, but because IN LOVE she truly and fully dedicates her life (her time, intelligence, energy, heart, etc.) to UPLIFTING her husband, to BLESS her husband, to FORWARD his goals.
She is the “booster rockets”, so to speak, on his already purposeful/meaningful mission for the Kingdom of God. She is actively obsessed with serving Him AS HE is serving Christ. And so he LOVES her for submitting to a vision for life that is not selfish, but IN SERVICE TO that which is the most good. She is CHERISHED truly, for she makes his life better in every way she possibly can.
Husband and wife are in service to each other AS both of them center their lives around serving Jesus as Lord, and HIS will being done on Earth, through them and their relationship. They are in active service to each other for they are in active partnership with God’s will being done on Earth. Their physical passion and intimacy is sourced in their spiritual oneness before the Most High God as agents of His goodness.
The Babylon perversion of this is to “worship” the other person instead of being intimate allies in service to the REAL Glory here, the Person and Will of Jesus. But because the fake church and religiosity are NOT CONNECTED to the person of Jesus, and not hearing His voice and direction on a daily basis, they get HORRIBLY off course, into shipwrecked relationships filled with every distortion.
A man without a clear vision from God for his life is a ship without a rudder. The godless culture leaves men WITHOUT a vital relationship with God as Father, without a VISION from God as to what their life is actually to be about. Without understanding even who their God-intended self is! Thus a woman cannot be secure in submitting to an untethered man — a rudderless man, a man in BONDAGE to his fleshly urges and selfish impulses, a short-sighted man, a man without the “house” of this life being anchored on the ROCK of Christ. And life and relationships becomes instead about Opportunistic Selfishness, about using each other — something ungodly that will always decay from lust and infatuation into bitter regret and collapse.
Without Jesus living IN and THROUGH you, you have no REAL love to love God with, love yourself with, or love another with. You only have Babylonian distractions and love-substitutes that are based on the LIE that service to self ends well.
