The Double Edge of AI
GREED drives humans (so predictability) to RUSH to build AI.
They try to apply it to everything, like everything needs to be smart this and smart that, and before it was HD screens this and HD makeup. Over-applied term to market many provides as “more better” and thereby sway the buyer to choose it.
The want to put AI into most everything, because after all the narrative is that this is “more better.” But they are BLINDED by the false god of this world to comprehend how they are construction their own techno prison all around us.
We have moved beyond the Internet of Things, where your refridgerator and vacume cleaner is hooked up to the Internet. It is not just an extention of the Internet and exchanging data. Now it is AI INFUSED. People imagine this to be good, and it could be in theory, were it not about to turn on people.
You’ve seen the Western movies where some guy is forced to dig his own grave. But this AI deception is a twist on that idea. Now people are gleefully frantic to dig your their graves because they imagine they are on the verge of finding gold — getting some massive benefit. The rush to AI is like that.
AI has already FUNDAMENTALLY changed us, how stock trading is done, how economies are run, how machines decide who to kill, etc.. We would DEBATE this a decade ago — “dare we give a machine the autonomy to kill a human? — Shocking!”
But these days, reality just tramples over philosophy and morality in the greedy rush to power, control, and profits. We crossed that line years ago and machines kill humans every day, while we applaud it.
Want to see AI actually at work at the close of 2024. You can see it for yourself. It is in those drones, mysterious, but NOT YOUR FRIEND. That is AI being applied, but not by some human nerd, military grunt or wall street executive. This is a tiny taste of AI in the reality, not the propaganda.
