Rights come from God, not the State
The founding fathers set up the government of the USA acknowledging that the state cannot give you rights. The state can only acknowledge the rights you already possess directly from God.
The state is prone to attract narcissists and psychopaths — those filled with selfish ambition and power agendas. These people are takers and love to use the power of the state against you. The only legitimate purpose of government, having acknowledged that your rights come from God, is to honor you, to protect your rights, and to serve you as you deem you desire to be served. Served in ways that uplift you, not degrade you. The state is not the arbiter of truth. The state exist to represent your good desires in a larger organized System across all society.
The state exists to reward those who do good and to punish those who do bad, and everyone in that day understood that the Bible properly defined good and evil. Man is not the measure of all things; God is. Now it is true that the founding fathers had various beliefs about God and many of them felt that God was a very distant being, which is not the actual God of the Bible.
Nevertheless, they understood and put into explicit writing that The state exist to SERVE the people, not the other way around. They put in protections from Tyranny. That is, the state taking from you instead of giving to you. The state oppressing you instead of uplifting you. The state restricting you instead of freeing you. The state trying to use you to benefit it, instead of being your servant.
Yesterday, the mayor of Washington DC is a tyrant. She is everything that our original government documents tried to prevent from getting its claws on power. She makes decrees against our laws that claim she can grant or take away your rights at her whim.
This is utterly un-American. This is a bully, a tyrant, not a public servant. If you let such a person exist you were choosing to commit national suicide.
The founding fathers also knew that freedom is very precious, and historically, the state has turned into an oppressive force. Evil people that love power instead of loving people, and these people try to grab the reins of the power of the state, using it to feed their ego, boost their bank accounts, and oppress the people.
The founding fathers explicitly stated that it is our duty to overthrow such oppression, (having violated God‘s purpose for our lives) that it has no true authority over us, that it must never be allowed to turn from a servant into a tyrant.
The 2nd Amendment reaffirms our God-given right to protect ourselves. Not just from a local criminal, but from a psychopath in power. From a tyrannical state gone rogue.
The mayor of Washington DC is a female psychopath. She has declared that she can take away your right to protect yourself, that means that she has proclaim herself, just like Lucifer did, as “higher than God”, who gave you the right life and self protection. That she can turn on-and-off the Second Amendment where it suits her to personal agendas. She wants to get your agreement that this is somehow in your best interest. Her existence is a blasphemy to the entire ethos of the United States of America.
