Resisting Abuse at the National Level

America’s Government was founded as REACTION FROM ABUSE, as PROTECTION from tyranny. The British Empire was very tyrannical.

The founding fathers wanted FREEDOM from bullshit taxes, from property taxes and limitations to own property, from all manner of corruption, and from a government who did not listen to or respond to their needs and complaints. (called redress of grievances)

So they designed a government that was HARD to corrupt, one with checks and balances in it. One that was SUPPOSED to be accountable to the people who could vote in replacements for those that did not do their job or fulfill their oaths, and on a very REGULAR BASIS, so that “bad apples” could be replaced quickly before they could get far with their evils and tyranny.

A main way they did this is de-centralization of power. Keeping powers separated, keeping the Federal Government as SMALL AS POSSIBLE, and putting as much power as possible in the LOCAL government right around you — people you could see and meet and talk to.. so you could hold them VERY accountable to their oath to represent and serve you.

They knew first hand how corruption, false political promises, and the power hungry would LIE to get into positions of power. They saw it every day in the oppressive Brittish Empire and they wanted NONE of that. They knew how selfish and psychopahtic people would try to ABUSE we the people.

And they clearly put into writing, IF AND WHEN tyranny does come into power and starts ABUSING the people all over again (like it had been doing in Brittan), then the people get to RESET the government.

They government does not get to RESET us and our economy, finances and such; no, WE get to reset it — and MAKE IT SERVE US like it is supposed to all along. Because if it is not representing us then it is fundamentally illegitimate.

This is all through the core of America’s government, the founding documents. And just to UNDERSCORE this, they stated as explicitly as they could with the 2nd amendment that people MUST be able to protect themselves from Tyranny and Abuse from the State, so the state cannot restrict the God-given rights and freedoms of we the people.

They understood that Good needs FORCE to overcome evil in high places because fake leaders never willingly give up the power that is supposed to be powerfully serving us, not them. Just as we are to resist abuse at the personal level, we are also to resist it at the national level.
