Fake Jesus Cannot Save You
Let’s be clear up front. I believe in the actual Jesus of Nazareth and His resurrection, but not the apostate paganism/syncretism of Rome, known as Catholicism and its control systems. Syncretism, by the way, means mixing paganism in with the teachings of the Apostles, thereby adulterating it from LIFE in Christ, that sets you free from sin and from your old self, into just another system of control, bondage and futility.
Watch this, please, for a well-spoken critique of the hyper-religious depiction of “super-baby” Jesus that the photo above is one such example of:
Myself, I subscribe to the “religion” of Adam and Eve before the Fall, which was NO religion whatsoever, but rather direct and intimate fellowship with God Himself. That includes conversational intimacy as God’s beloved ally, saved by Divine Grace, not self-effort. The work of Jesus, His birth, life death and resurrection was all strategic and successful to RESTORE humanity, spiritual dead and physically dying, to eternal life IN HIMSELF.
The Gospel of Jesus is NOT to burden us with more systems of control, hierarchies, and sin-management, known as “religion.”
The icon shown in the post is a hyper-religious and super-white fake Jesus, doing the forbidden Nimrod/Tammuz hand sign of the ancient secret society (aka fallen angel cults) condemned by God in the scroll of Ezekiel, chapter 8.
The FAKE “son of God” and “mother of God” of paganism is promoted by so many fallen angels, under various names and titles throughout the pagan nations.
The religious controllers, just rebranded their own paganism (fallen angel blood sacrifice cults) under Christian terminology to deceive the feeble-minded and maintain their CONTROL over the people. They co-opted following Jesus and turned it into religion, with false claims of Christianity and false claims of spiritual authority (crimes not fully addressed in this article),
That is the exact opposite of what the real Jesus does (Isaiah 61). The real Jesus sets you free (free from the power of sin and death, free from your old self and all its death and distortion), make you alive in Himself (John 10:10, John14:16, Romans 6:8–11, Romans 8:33.34, 1 Corinthians 15:20–22, Ephesians 2:4,5, Colossians 2:13+15), and empowers you to live in freedom — which is rightly defined as the power to do as you should, not merely as your flesh pleases. A person who does not know (“to know” in Hebrew means to have intimate, direct experience with) Jesus, simply cannot invite you to know the real Jesus. Religious systems like Catholicism can claim authority, decorate themselves with titles like Father this and Pope that and all this religious bunk. But they cannot introduce you to the Real Jesus to save your soul and set you free and fully ALIVE.
The “Super-Baby” Jesus of Catholicism is a deceptive and religious substitute for the Jesus that saves:
In fact, the Apostle Paul (who never called himself “Father Paul”), once he came to KNOW Jesus (have direct, intimate experience with as a person, the person of the Messiah), realized he had to THROW AWAY all that religious programming he had. None of it saved him or make him spiritually alive and free. In the light of the truth of who Jesus Messiah actually is, Apostle Paul realized that religion was just like a heap of rotting tampons — filthy menstrual rags. Religion will program and deceive you; it is disgusting and you should have nothing to do with it. (Isaiah 64:6 and Philippians 3:4–11)
In fact, in Philippians 3:4–11 the Apostle Paul lists his impeccable religious credentials, only to discover they are utterly shit and a direct hindrance to salvation in the Person of the Real Jesus.
4 If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; 6 as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless.
7 But whatever were gains to me (all religious efforts) I now consider LOSS for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing (meaning directly and intimately experiencing the person of) Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them like disgusting menstrual rags, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law (religious rule-keeping), but that which is through faith in Christ — that is, the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith (not religion). 10 I want to know (intimately and directly experience) Christ — yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
The fake Church created a hierarchy of systems of human authority between the believer, and Christ — their Savior, Brother, Fellow Heir, Messiah, Atoning Lamb, etc.. That is what religion does — it inserts control systems and claims God agrees with their systems of control and authority. That is Roman Catholicism. That is BONDAGE — spiritual bondage and oppression just like the entire history of Roman Catholicism clearly documents.
Accept no substitutes for the real thing, friends. Friends don’t let friends put their trust in Syncretism substitutes. We accept no hyper-religious iconography of Western blonde/blue eyed super-baby Jesus. That is not the real Jesus. Jesus is, in fact, the most non-religious person you can ever meet.
“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it
is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it
is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”
~Romans 10:9–10
Your own attempts at spirituality and good intentions are, compared to God’s Holiness, a heap of rotting tampons, and do NOTHING to get you any closer to God, then how can anyone be saved? Not by religion of self-effort to be sure.
Ephesians 2:1 says “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.”
That’s how hopeless we are apart from God’s work to save us. You see, all a dead person can do is lay there and be dead and rot and stink, let alone try to be righteous before God.
No, our righteousness comes from Christ Jesus alone. You either get the righteousness of the real Jesus, or you have none, whatsoever. And here’s how that is possible: God sent his Son to die on the cross, to hang there as our sin, in order to pay the just punishment for sin that we deserved. That is our only hope, that Jesus became sin — our sin — and in so doing, he likewise became our righteousness.
II Corinthians 5:21“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
How dishonoring, then, it is to God’s grace and to Christ’s atonement when we try to save ourselves by our acts of righteousness and our efforts at moral perfection or religious effort! The sooner we realize that, the sooner, we’ll join Paul in saying,
“I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing
Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them
[our best efforts] like disgusting menstrual rags, that I may gain Christ and be found in HIM, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law,
but that which is through faith in Christ — the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.” (Philippians 3:8–9)
It is only through the power of Christ’s resurrection and our death to self (Philippians 3:10–11) that our heart — the core of who we are, that which represents every fiber of our existence — will get transformed/saved/redeemed. And it is out of a transformed heart, and only that, that our tongue can confess “Jesus is Lord”. And as I’m stressing in this article, trusting in the real Jesus of history and of the Bible, not the fiction substitute of the religious Jesus. Then, and only then, are we saved.
